Horizontal Directional Drilling

Install underground without opening the road. Bores planned, steered and proven.

01 / OVERVIEW

Built by our own crews.

Horizontal directional drilling lets us place conduit under roads, railways, waterways and landscaping with almost no surface disruption. Our rigs cover everything from small residential bores to large-diameter crossings on major infrastructure programs across Alberta, and every bore is planned around located existing utilities before the first rod goes in the ground.

Planning is the job. Locates are verified and daylighted by our own hydrovac crews, the bore path is profiled against known utilities and cover requirements, and the rig is not mobilised until the alignment is agreed. A steered bore is only as good as the information it was planned on.

Drilling fluid is mixed, recycled and contained on site, and the head is tracked for the length of the pull. You receive a bore log and an as-built depth profile rather than an assurance, which is what the next locate request and the next contractor will actually need.
