DIVISION 04

Ductbanks and Manholes

Formed, reinforced and encased pathways built to pass carrier acceptance the first time.

01 / OVERVIEW

Built by our own crews.

We build the underground pathways that protect and organise utility infrastructure across Alberta, from precast vaults and manholes to multi-way concrete-encased conduit banks. Precise forming, rebar and concrete work is what separates a ductbank that passes acceptance from one that gets rebuilt.

Concrete-encased work is unforgiving. Once the pour is complete, an error in spacing, grade or alignment is no longer a correction. It is a demolition. Spacer racking, rebar and formwork are verified against the drawing before a yard of concrete is placed.

Every duct is mandrel-proofed and rope-installed before handover, and the as-built records the actual invert, alignment and duct assignment. The next contractor to pull cable through your corridor gets a system that works on the first attempt.
